What is Pen-Testing?

Penetration testing probes an application the way an attacker would—attempting injection, authentication bypass, insecure configuration, and other exploits—to find security weaknesses before adversaries do. It goes beyond passive scanning by actively trying to break in and demonstrating real impact. Security is a non-functional quality every serious release must address. QI bundles Strix pen-testing directly into the platform, so security assessment sits alongside functional recording and self-healing tests rather than being a separate, bolted-on afterthought.
